This is ZZF (朱泽峰). I am a first year Ph.D. student at AAIS, Peking University.
My involvement in science lies in the study of biomacromolecule structures. I am passionate to explore the underlying mechanisms of the molecular world with mathematical tools and physical insights. And I am stepping toward utilizing the advantages of (deep) learning methods to build physically interpretable models of protein folding, conformation changes, protein binding, and so on. These problems involve:
- deal with high-dimensional functions/distributions
- geometric representations of amino acids and other molecules in both local and global perspective
- generative modeling as well as efficient sampling methods of such distributions
- discriminative modeling to distinguish decision boundaries for biological functions
- physical understanding of sophisticated systems
- formulations
- invariance
- thermodynamic stability
- kinetic accessibility
- symmetry
